When it comes to planning a wedding, there are seemingly millions of tasks to check off your list. At open door church, we want to make one decision easy… where to host your wedding ceremony. Our unique, heritage-style building is perfectly suited to help make your special day even more beautiful, memorable, and awe-inspiring.

Our venue’s modern-minimalist design combined with the rustic-historic ambiance of a 100+ year-old building creates a visual experience that will “WOW” your guests even before they see your dress! We also have upgraded lighting, projection, and sound systems included to ensure your ceremony (and/or reception) has the exact look and feel you desire.

WHAT’S THE INVESTMENT?

When you look back on your wedding day years from now, chances are you won’t care nearly as much about the entrées or flowers as you thought you would. Basically, you will remember three things:

Reception Only

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How many wedding guests can ODC fit comfortably?

For wedding ceremonies, we can comfortably seat up to 175 guests

For wedding receptions, our venue is best suited for between 75 to 100 guests, but we can accomodate up to 127 people

Can I serve alcohol at the wedding reception?

As long as you have the proper liquor permit AND bartending staff with the required Serve-It Right certificate, you are welcome to have a bar at open door church

Do I have to be a member of the church to rent the venue for my wedding?

No, you do NOT have to be a member of open door church to utilize our venue for your wedding

Do I have to use the pastor at the church to marry us or can we use our own pastor or Justice?

You are welcome to use any individual licensed in the province of British Columbia to marry you. If you would like more information on having our pastor(s) conduct your ceremony, let us know.
